Police: Fire causes heavy damage to Hewlett Harbor home

A home in Hewlett Harbor was heavily damaged after a fire broke out around noon on Friday, Nassau police said.
Photos from the blaze at Huckleberry Lane showed firefighters from several communities battling the blaze that had engulfed the rear of the home.
No injuries were reported, police said.
