Police: Fire reported at Lawrence house
Nassau County police reported a fire in a Lawrence neighborhood Thursday, a department spokesman said.
Police responded to a call for a fire on Auerbach Lane at about 9:37 a.m., the spokesman said.
The spokesman had no further details but said it was his understanding the house was not occupied at the time of the fire.
Calls seeking more information from the Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department were not immediately returned.
