Police units were dispatched to a home on Midwood Street in Uniondale after a girl smelled something foul and called 911 at 12:36 p.m. Friday, Nassau County police said.

Though the house was evacuated, authorities found no hazardous conditions and the case was closed at 1:54 p.m., police said.

The Uniondale fire department also responded to the scene, according to fire officials.
