A 31-year-old homeless man was arrested early Wednesday after police responding to a break-in said they found him inside a store in Roosevelt.

Nassau County police said Danefield Bourne shattered the front glass door and entered the BoostMobile store on Nassau Road at 5:05 a.m.

Police said they found Bourne inside the store with merchandise taken from a display case.

Bourne was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, police said.

He was arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead. Arraignment information was not available.
