 Jose R. Valleja, 24, who had no known address, was found at Kennedy Park, 336 Greenwich St., shortly after 1 a.m., authorities said. 
 Detectives say Valleja suffered severe trauma to his neck and head, causing the fatal wounds. Further details weren't available. 
 Valleja was taken to the <a href="/topics//Nassau_County,_NY">Nassau</a> County Medical Examiner's morgue to determine the cause of death.
