The 82-year-old woman killed in a three-car collision in Woodbury has been identified by police as Jane Martin of Huntington Station.

Martin was a passenger in a 1983 Buick when the accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on Jericho Turnpike, Nassau County police said.

The driver of the car, an 82-year-old man, and the driver of one of the two other vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The westbound Buick collided with another westbound vehicle, police said, then crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a third vehicle.

There was no apparent criminality in the accident, investigators said.
