Police investigate East Meadow fire

Nassau County police are investigating what appears to be an accidental house fire in East Meadow that broke out early Friday morning.
No injuries were reported, and police said family members were safely evacuated from the house on Spruce Lane.
"It does not appear suspicious, but it is under investigation," a police spokeswoman said. "Right now, we have it as accidental."
