Police investigate public lewdness in Massapequa

A thin-built man in his teens approached a 16-year-old girl Monday in Massapequa and exposed himself, Nassau County police said.

The girl was walking west on North Richmond Avenue when at 6:18 p.m. the man, unknown to her, approached, police said. After the man -- wearing jeans and a black/red shirt and hat -- engaged in the act of public lewdness, she screamed, ran home and called police, police said.
