Police investigate stabbing of teen
Nassau County police are investigating a Freeport stabbing that left a 17-year-old with undisclosed wounds, a department spokesman said Friday.
At about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said, a disturbance near North Columbus Avenue and Independence Avenue led to the stabbing of a single victim. The youth was taken to a hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries, the spokesman said.
No other injuries were reported.
