Police investigating Hempstead shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in Hempstead early Sunday morning.
Hempstead Village police said that the incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. at 44 Linden Place.
The case was being investigated by the Nassau County Police homicide squad, according to Hempstead police.
The investigation is ongoing. No further information was immediately available Sunday morning.
