Massapequa sports complex probed for possible shots fired, cops say

Nassau County police are investigating a possible incident of shots fired in the vicinity of a multiuse outdoor sports complex in Massapequa on Saturday afternoon.
Police said they responded to a call at 1:38 p.m. of shots fired in front of Sportime Tennis on Old Sunrise Highway in Massapequa near the 10-acre Field of Dreams complex.
A spokesman had no further details on Saturday night.
The incident was still under investigation.
