New York State Police said they were investigating reports of vehicles struck by objects Saturday night on the Meadow Brook Parkway near the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale.

Police would not confirm any injuries or damage, but said there was “police activity” on the highway after reports of someone throwing bricks or other objects at cars near Charles Lindbergh Boulevard shortly after 8 p.m.

State Police with the Valley Stream station said they were investigating and reported no lanes on the highway were closed.
