Police responding to a ShotSpotter call in Uniondale Tuesday night found six .380-caliber shell casings and a residence struck by gunfire.

The bullets did not penetrate the home, Nassau County police said. No one was injured.

Police are still searching for a suspect in the incident.

The home is located on Barry Place, police said, and the ShotSpotter call was received at 9:10 p.m. Police said the shell casings were located near the sidewalk and said an investigation revealed bullets struck the house siding and front door.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
