Nassau County police located a vulnerable Island Park woman Friday, not long after saying 24-year-old Katherine Laos, who has mental disabilities, might be endangered.

Laos had last been seen at the Long Island Rail Road station taxi stand in Island Park early Thursday evening, leaving with an unknown man.

But the woman, who is 4-foot-5 and 155 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and who wore a pink jumpsuit, was located Friday, police said, canceling the missing-person alert at about 8:30 a.m. Details were not immediately available.

Laos had last been seen at 7:30 p.m. Thursday -- and, as a result, police had issued a Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert, which included a photo.
