Man used knife to rob cellphone store in Hicksville, say cops
Nassau police are looking for a man who robbed a cellphone store at knifepoint in Hicksville on Wednesday evening.
Police said the man entered the Metro PCS at 55C Broadway armed with a knife about 6:35 p.m., approached the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled south on Broadway with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. No one was hurt.
