Police: Man injured in Freeport fight
An 18-year-old man was cut in the neck during a fight Friday night in Freeport, Nassau Police said.
According to detectives, two 18-year-old men were walking on West Merrick Road when they were approached by three unknown men.
The three men began to assault one of the 18-year-olds around 5:20 p.m., and when the second intervened, he was cut in his neck. He was brought to a hospital, where he was admitted and is listed in stable condition.
Police said the three men fled the scene and are about 17 to 20 years of age. One suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black vest.
