A 69-year-old man was robbed Tuesday morning in Woodmere, after one man grabbed him in a choke hold, while another took a wallet and satellite radio from his pocket, Nassau County police said.

The man was walking on Lafayette Place near Central Avenue when at 4:27 a.m. the two unknown men approached him from behind, police said.

The two then got in an older-model sport utility vehicle and drove south on Central Avenue, police said.

An unknown amount of money was taken, and no injuries were reported, police said.
