Nassau police are searching for a man who they say robbed a bank in Franklin Square on Sunday.

The man walked into the TD Bank branch at 690 Hempstead Tpke. at about 2:20 p.m. and presented a demand note to a teller, police said.

He then left the bank on foot, police said. The amount of money he took in the robbery was unknown, police said.

The man was described as about 30 years old, between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a thin build and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants, gloves and a red and black scarf that partially obscured his face.
