Police: Man shot in leg leaving Baldwin party
A 26-year old man was shot in the leg Friday night shortly after leaving a party in Baldwin, Nassau County police said.
Officers said the victim left the gathering on Ann Street near Jeffrey Drive about 10:06 p.m. when he heard gunshots, then felt pain in his right leg, officers said.
He was taken by private vehicle to a hospital for treatment. Police are continuing to investigate.
