First Squad detectives are trying to determine who shot a man in the foot in front of his Uniondale home Sunday, Nassau County police said.

At about 4 p.m. the victim, 21, was in front of his Greengrove Avenue residence when another man fired four to six gunshots at him using a semiautomatic pistol, police said.

The victim was hit in the left foot and was treated and released at a nearby hospital, police said.

The shooter, who was on foot, ran north on Greengrove Avenue.
