Man shot to death in vehicle over the weekend, police say
Nassau police are investigating a homicide in Hempstead in which a 26-year-old man was killed.
According to detectives, Shawn T. Boone, of Hempstead, was found fatally wounded in a vehicle early Saturday by Hempstead Village patrol officers responding to a call of shots fired at 137 Princeton St.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by Long Island Jewish Medical Center ambulance personnel.
Police said they had no information about possible suspects or the circumstances of the killing.
