Police: Man stole from Macy's, threatened to shoot store security

Nassau County police and Crime Stoppers are looking for a man who threatened to shoot store security after stealing more than $1,200 worth of merchandise from a Macy's store in Hicksville last month.
Police on Thursday released a photograph of the suspect who on Oct. 28 took the merchandise from the store at the Broadway Mall.
The suspect was in the Macy's store at about 8:35 p.m. and made off with $1,267 worth of merchandise, police said.
Store security approached him as he was leaving, and the suspect pulled up his jacket and reached toward his waistband, saying, "I suggest you go inside before I shoot you," police said in a news release.
He then ran off.
