A masked man stole an undisclosed amount of money from a North Valley Stream gasoline station early Friday, Nassau police said.

The robber entered the Ultra Gas Station, 360 West Central Avenue, at about 6:30 a.m. and approached the 21-year-old male attendant, police said.

Police said the robber displayed a knife and demanded cash from the attendant, who complied. The suspect, believed to be 20 to 30 years old, fled on foot west on Clarendon Drive.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
