Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County police say this is one of two men suspected in the June 23, 2012 theft of a Pomeranian puppy from Zoo Rama, a pet store in Elmont. The pup is worth about $1,400, police said. Credit: NCPD

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County police said Tuesday they are looking for two puppy pilferers who struck an Elmont pet store in June.

The suspects, both men, took a Pomeranian pup worth about $1,400 from the Zoo Rama pet store at 475 Hempstead Tpke. at 12:35 p.m. June 23, police said.

Police released photographs of the two suspects taken from video surveillance cameras at the store.

The suspects were able to take the pup by distracting an employee, police said.
