Police: Missing Hempstead man, 79, is found

Nassau County police said they have located a 79-year-old man with dementia who had been missing since Sunday afternoon.
Michael Turrell had been last seen at his home on Marshall Street in Hempstead about 3 p.m. Sunday, police said.
He was going to the Venus Restaurant on Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead, police said.
According to a 10:17 p.m. Monday police release, he has been located.
