Police: No injuries in school bus accident

A school bus was involved in an accident Tuesday morning in South Floral Park, but no injuries have been reported, Nassau County police said.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. at the intersection of Marguerite Avenue and Emma Street, police said. The circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash were not immediately known and neither was the school served by the bus.

The bus was occupied, police said, though it was not known how many passengers were aboard.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
