Police: Northern reopens after accident, fire
The westbound lanes of the Northern State Parkway just west of Exit 30, I.U. Willets Road, were closed briefly on Saturday morning. Nassau County police said they were investigating an auto accident and a car fire.
State police said the parkway was reopened about 11:35 a.m.
No other information was immediately available.
