Police: Pedestrian hit on Hempstead Tpke.
A man was who was hit by a vehicle early Wednesday in Uniondale declined medical attention at the scene, a Nassau County police spokeswoman said.
The man was hit at about 6:28 a.m. at Marvin Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike, police said.
The spokeswoman said the two roads remained open to traffic and the man "appeared to be OK."
She had no other details.
