Police probe attack on man found on Roosevelt street
A 22-year-old man was in stable condition Monday after police, responding to a 911 call, found the wounded man bleeding on a street in Roosevelt.
Nassau County police officers found the stabbing victim on Babylon Turnpike at about 4:30 a.m., police said. The man was taken by police ambulance to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
Police said a dark-colored sport utility vehicle was observed leaving the scene.
Police are asking that anyone with information regarding the incident call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
