Nassau County detectives are investigating a Wednesday morning bank robbery in Baldwin in which a man wearing a "green fatigue bucket hat" passed a "demand note" to a teller and made away with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. Credit: NCPD

Nassau County detectives are investigating a Wednesday morning bank robbery in Baldwin in which a man wearing a "green fatigue bucket hat" passed a "demand note" to a teller and made away with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The man, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and looking to be in his 30s, entered the Bank of America, 792 Atlantic Ave., at 11:15 a.m., presented the note and fled with the money east on Atlantic Avenue, police said.

Three employees and three customers were in the bank at the time, and no injuries were reported, police said.
