Police are searching for two men -- and, possibly, a third -- who set fire to a car early Friday morning at an Audi dealership in Lynbrook.
The arson fire destroyed a 2012 Audi convertible parked next to the main building at Anchor Audi on Sunrise Highway just before 1 a.m., Nassau County police said. Police said the arson and a break-in involving the same vehicle about an hour earlier were captured on surveillance video.
That video shows two suspects breaking into the car just before midnight Thursday, police said. Police said that after breaking into the vehicle the suspects left -- only to return to the dealership an hour later.
At that time, police said, the car was set ablaze. The suspects then fled in a waiting vehicle.
It was not immediately clear if other cars were damaged in the fire. Police said the case is being investigated.
No arrests have been made.
