Nassau County police are investigating a bank robbery in Freeport that happened at 2:55 p.m. Friday.

Police said a male subject entered the Citibank at 180 Merrick Rd. and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The teller complied and the man ran from the bank, heading west on Merrick Road.

He is described as 20 to 30 years old, 6-foot to 6-foot-2, slim and wearing a dark baseball-like cap, red jacket, blue jeans and gloves.
