Police probe Friday morning street robbery in Hempstead
Nassau County police were investigating a Friday morning robbery in Hempstead.
A 33-year-old man was walking along Fulton Avenue at about 4:55 a.m. when, police said, a woman grabbed $30 out of his hand and a man punched him and took the victim's gold chain.
Police said the man was not injured in the attack. No further description of the suspects was available, police said.
