Police probe graffiti, swastika at school
Graffiti, including a swastika and "obscene words," were found marked on a playground slide at an elementary school in Roslyn Heights, police said.
Nassau County police said the graffiti, discovered Monday morning at Heights Elementary School, on Willow Street, is now being investigated as a bias incident.
Written in a black marker, the graffiti were emblazoned on the playground slide sometime between Friday and Monday at 8 a.m., police said.
Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
