A Queens woman was struck and killed by a minivan as she walked in Hicksville Thursday, Nassau County police said.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the crash at 7:55 p.m. that killed Olga Aranova, 52, of Flushing, who was trying to cross Broadway east to west, under the Long Island Rail Road overpass, when she was hit.

Police said no charges are pending against the driver, a man, 58, who was operating a 2008 Toyota Sienna north on Broadway.

Aranova was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.

No other injuries were reported.

Brake and safety tests were performed on the vehicle at the scene, police said.
