Police on Friday released a video and photograph of a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery last month in Westbury.

According to Nassau County police detectives, a man entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union at 750 Old Country Rd. at about 1:50 p.m. Oct. 8 and presented a demand note to a teller.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled, running south on Westbury Drive, police said. Although six employees and three customers were in the bank during the robbery, no injuries were reported, police said.

The suspect, who is seen in a video and photograph, is described as 6-foot-1 and between the ages of 35 and 40 with blond hair and wearing a blue baseball cap, gray sweatshirt and jeans, police said.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the robbery to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
