He flashed a handgun, threatened to shoot a relative and kicked in the front door of his own house in Roosevelt, police said.

Officers responding to the domestic disturbance on Oak Street Wednesday afternoon arrested Thomas Beeks, 24, charging him with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Nassau County police said Beeks was arrested after an investigation during which officers found him in possession of a fully loaded, defaced .22-caliber revolver - and about three ounces of marijuana.

He is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
