Police seek Bethpage bank robber wearing Obama cap
Nassau police are looking for a man who robbed a Bethpage bank Wednesday morning wearing a baseball cap featuring President Barack Obama's face.
Police said a man believed to be in his mid-40s walked into the Chase Bank at 4276 Hempstead Tpke. at 11:40 a.m. and gave the bank teller a note demanding cash.
The suspect then fled in a brown two-tone sport utility vehicle with an unknown amount of money. He was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build, black hair and wearing a blue button-down dress shirt and the brown baseball cap.
Police said there were four employees and two customers in the bank at the time of the robbery, and no one was hurt.
