Police seek Farmingdale bank robber
Police are looking for a man who they said robbed a Chase Bank in Farmingdale Tuesday evening.
Nassau police said a man entered the bank at 334 Main St. just before 6 p.m. and approached a teller. The suspect, who was described as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and was wearing dark clothes, gloves and a mask that covered his face, handed the teller a note demanding cash and was given an "undisclosed" amount of money, police said. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction, they said.
Police said there were no injuries in the robbery, and that five employees and five customers were present.
