Nassau County police on Sunday were seeking two suspects who they said hit and kicked a man in Hicksville before stealing his iPod.

The 38-year-old victim was walking on Kiwanis Place near St. James Place on Friday at about 10 p.m. when he was attacked from behind by two men, police said.

One suspect struck the victim in the head, while the other pulled him to the ground. The attackers kicked the man and took his iPod from his pocket.

They fled on foot toward the Hicksville Long Island Rail Road train station.

The victim was treated for minor injuries at a hospital.

Police on Sunday said they have no description of the suspects, but asked that anyone with information about the robbery call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
