Nassau County's Robbery Squad detectives are looking for a man who they said robbed a Manhasset bank Saturday.

According to investigators, a man armed with a black handgun entered Marathon Bank, 1577 Northern Blvd., at around 1:26 p.m., pointed it at three employees and demanded money. The bank employees complied and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction.

Police said it's not clear if he ran away or had transportation. No customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported, police said.

Police said the bank robber had gray-silver hair and was 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighed 250 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, a black mask covering his mouth area and a blue waist-length jacket, police said.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
