Police seek men who robbed couple in Bellmore
Seventh Squad detectives are looking for two armed men who robbed a couple on a corner in Bellmore Tuesday night, Nassau County police said.
According to detectives, a man and woman were at the corner of Sunrise Avenue and Center Avenue about 10:50 p.m. when they were approached by two men wearing hooded sweatshirts and brandishing handguns. The armed men placed the handguns to the heads of the victims and demanded their money and cell phones.
The men ran north on Center Avenue, police said.
