Police seek Roslyn Heights bank robber
A man who said he had a gun robbed a Roslyn Heights bank Tuesday morning, Nassau police said.
He went into the First National Bank of Long Island on Mineola Avenue just before 9:45 a.m., and while he told the teller he had a gun, none was seen, police said.
He ran off east on Villa Place with money, police said.
No injuries were reported by the five employees and one customer there at the time, police said.
The suspect wore a gray, hooded sweatshirt and appeared to be in his 30s and was about 5 fee 11 inches tall, police said.
