Three suspects are still at-large after an assault in Uniondale sent a 19-year-old man to the hospital with gunshot wounds early Saturday morning, Nassau County police said.

Police said the victim was shot about 1 a.m. outside his Hill Street home.

The victim confronted three men sitting on a family member's car, police said. As the argument escalated, all three men lifted their shirts, displaying handguns in their waistbands, police said.

As the victim walked away, several rounds of shots were fired, and bullets struck him in the back and arm, police said. The suspects fled the scene on foot.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was admitted and is listed in stable condition.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
