Fifth Squad detectives are looking for two men who assaulted and robbed a teen Tuesday morning in Lakeview, Nassau County police said.

Police said a 17-year-old was walking north on Woodfield Road, north of White Star Avenue, at about 1 a.m. when two men approached him. They punched and kicked him, knocking him to the ground.

The two then took the man's iPod, an undisclosed amount of cash and his cell phone, police said, before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim had a contusion to his forehead and two teeth were chipped, police said. He refused medical attention.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All callers will remain anonymous.
