Police seek two who robbed woman at gunpoint in Hicksville

Two men robbed a woman at gunpoint in Hicksville early Friday, Nassau County police said Monday.
The 42-year-old was walking through Cantiague Park, on West John Street, when two unknown men approached her from behind and tried to take her pocketbook around 4:45 a.m., police said.
When the victim turned around, she saw one of the men was pointing a black handgun at her, police said. The suspects rifled through her pants pockets and took an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
Both suspects are in their 20s, police said. One wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants. The other wrote a black sweatshirt and black pants. No injuries were reported.
