Nassau police are looking for the person or people who shot at a Roosevelt house Thursday night.

At about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, the police ShotSpotter detected shots fired at a home on Wagner Avenue. The ShotSpotter is a sophisticated audio device that can pinpoint gunshots.

A resident, 71, said he heard gunfire and glass breaking at his home. Police found five shell casings in front of the home.

Detectives request anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
