Police: Suspect arrested in Lawrence bank robbery
One person is under arrest after a midmorning bank robbery Thursday in Lawrence, Nassau police said.
Police have not released the identity of the suspect.
The robbery of a Bank of America branch on Central Avenue was reported in a 911 call at 9:53 a.m., police said. It was not immediately clear where the suspect was arrested -- or how police were able to locate the robber.
Police did not say how much was stolen.
