Crime Stoppers and Nassau County police are looking for a suspect who threatened security personnel with a pair of scissors in May when he stole video-gaming controllers from a Rosedale department store.

Fourth Precinct police on Monday released photographs of the suspect taken from video surveillance cameras at the Kmart at 25301 Rockaway Blvd.

At about 6:45 p.m. on May 31, police said the suspect took an Xbox live controller and PlayStation controllers from the store.

As he left the store, the suspect was confronted by a security manager, according to a news release. The suspect pulled out a pair of scissors, threatened the manager and then left the store with the stolen merchandise in an unknown direction, the release said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
