Police SUV broadsided on Hempstead Turnpike, police say

A police SUV was broadsided by a sedan at Route 106 and Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow late Tuesday morning, the police said.

“It was T-boned,” a Nassau police spokesman said. “The injuries were minor,” he added.

No additional details were immediately available.
